Documentary

This is a documentary short that I shot, edited, and published in less than 24 hours. I was on a photographic expedition with my friend Bill Schwab in Iceland’s Northwest Fjords. We came across a pod of about 50 pilot whales that had stranded themselves on the beach. This 4-1/2 minute film tells the heartbreaking story. Be sure to watch with the sound on.
